Our Story
A landmark building, reimagined
Southend Hall began its life as a chapel — and that sense of occasion has never left the building.
Today, The Emerald Bradford carries that heritage forward as a dedicated wedding and events venue, built around the same soaring sense of space and quiet grandeur that made the original building a landmark.
Set on Tickhill Street in Bradford, the venue offers characterful event spaces across two floors, giving couples and organisers room to make the day genuinely their own — from ceremony to reception, all under one roof.
The Venue
Two floors, one striking setting
Our event spaces are designed to flex — from intimate ceremonies to full-scale receptions — without ever losing the character of the original building.
Ground Floor
The main hall space — high ceilings and a natural focal point for ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and larger gatherings.
First Floor
A more intimate setting suited to drinks receptions, smaller celebrations, or as an overflow space alongside the ground floor.
